Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Breast Cancer Awareness Month

“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.” – Helen Keller
We are spreading the word on Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The pink ribbon is a symbol that represents the courage to fight breast cancer with the hope for successful treatment and a great future.
Having personally had over 20 years of experience observing the devastating impacts of this sickness, this hits home…
As a team here at Valcore, we’ve been on the other side of the phone, hearing from clients, friends and family that they are going through a breast cancer diagnosis, undergoing treatment, or that they ultimately beat cancer! From the terrible news to the impacts on health, changes needed to their financial plans, and on to great recoveries – we have seen so much strength!
We have been involved on many different levels with clients:
- we’ve set up and delivered Critical illness cheques to clients who needed them to get through the added healthcare costs
- we’ve helped clients set up insurance policies to donate tax efficiently to charities like this,
- and most importantly – we’ve simply helped clients during a trying time and do what we can to reduce their stress.
Breast Cancer hits close to home for me. I remember so clearly when she told us - but today, I’m happy to say that my Mom is a Breast Cancer Survivor.
To quote a comment she made recently, “I am cancer free almost 20 years now. Exercise and being in touch with family and friends is imperative in the fight against the big “C””.
We wanted to take a moment to mark Breast Cancer Awareness month and send support to everyone! Donate, participate in a run, or support in any way, if that makes sense for you and your charitable goals.
Here’s our whole team wearing pink – to support Breast Cancer Awareness! (We will be donating $50 for each team member that wore pink in support 😊)
Thank YOU for your support!
